Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with

This site and the products on it are provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] of [REGISTERED ADDRESS](“we”, “us”). By using the site or buying a product you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Contact: vantonderstuart@gmail.com.

2. The free resources

The guides, articles and the free Developer Portfolio Toolkit are provided at no cost. You may use, copy and adapt the templates and checklists for your own portfolio, including commercially — that is what they are for.

You may not republish them as your own work, sell them, or present them as part of a competing paid product. Attribution is appreciated but not required for personal use.

3. The paid product

Developer Portfolio Builder is a digital product delivered electronically. When you buy it you get a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials, including future updates to them, for as long as we operate the product.

You may:

  • Use every template and framework in your own portfolio, including commercially
  • Adapt them however you like for your own work
  • Keep local copies of anything you download

You may not:

  • Share your access with others, or publish the materials publicly
  • Resell, redistribute or sublicense the materials
  • Use them to build a competing course, toolkit or paid resource
  • Use them to train a machine-learning model for redistribution

4. Price and payment

The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are processed by [CHECKOUT PROVIDER]; we do not handle or store card details.

The launch price of €29 applies until the date stated on the product page, after which the standard price of €39 applies. Buying at the launch price does not entitle you to a refund of the difference if the price later changes in either direction, and equally we will not ask you for more if it rises.

VAT or local sales tax is applied at checkout where required by your location.

5. Refunds

If the product is not what you expected, email vantonderstuart@gmail.com within [14] days of purchase and we will refund you. You do not need to justify the request.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel distance purchases. Because this is digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that delivery starts straight away, which waives that right — our own refund policy above applies regardless, and is intended to be at least as generous.

6. What we do and do not promise

We provide educational materials and templates. We do not promise, and nothing on this site should be read as promising, that using them will get you a job, an interview, or any particular outcome. Hiring depends on the market, the role, your interviews and many factors outside anyone’s control.

What we do commit to is that the materials are what the product page says they are. If something described as included is missing, tell us and we will fix it or refund you.

7. Your own claims

The materials repeatedly ask you to represent your abilities accurately. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you write about yourself in a portfolio, CV or application, including anything drafted with the help of our templates or of AI tools. We are not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate claims you make.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site and product access available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, update or withdraw materials. If we withdraw the product entirely, existing customers will be given a reasonable period to download everything they have access to.

9. Third-party services and links

The guides recommend third-party tools and hosting providers. These recommendations are not sponsored and we receive nothing for them. We are not responsible for those services, their pricing, their availability, or their terms.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the site or the products is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your purchase or use. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and disputes are subject to the courts of [JURISDICTION]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
